This web site is owned and operated by Snazzles Fancy Dress.  Our Motto is to provide you a wide range of quality products, a great service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. We aim to please all our customers and provide you with unique and innovative products; your satisfaction is our success.   We proud ourselves in offering you Rubies branded and exclusive licensed fancydress costumes and accessories.  Rubie’s Masquerade is the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of fancy dress costumes, Halloween and Carnival products, dress up and accessories.

We are an online shop designed for efficiency, convenience and to provide you shopping enjoyment in your own leisure.  However there may be times that you wish to contact us for mail order and general web enquiries.  We therefore encourage you to email us on the below details and we will get back to as soon as possible.  Web admin office hours are 9:00am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. We are unable to respond to emails outside of these hours.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.  Please ensure that you include a viable mobile number. If at all you have any problems with this process please do not hesitate to contact us; [email protected]

We accept all major debit and credit cards, Visa and Mastercard, Paypal payments and cheques (by arrangement). All the prices in the online store are shown inclusive and exclusive of VAT where applicable at the prevailing rates. We sell in UK Pounds Sterling (£).  If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.  Please note that no order will be dispatched for shipping until it is paid for in full. 

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us as soon as possible and we will correct the mistake if it has not already been despatched.  Further, if you wish to amend your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, and you make delayed contact with us, and if your order has been shipped or received by you, you will need to follow the returns policy.  Please note you may be liable for a return transportation charges for cancellations.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Prior to shipping, we reserve the right to decline, reject or similarly cancel any order or part order without notice and refund any payment in full.

Packaging

Many products, especially accessories can be procured from different suppliers depending on stock availability. Please note therefore that products may come in different packaging.

Products and Descriptions

We reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice. All sizes, weights, colours and further descriptions are given as a guide only and may be approximate.

  • Representations of colour are approximate due to the limitations of photographic and calibrations of different output devices.
  • A name given to a product is not necessarily representative of the colour - for example Aqua, may be shades of green or blue. If you have a specific requirement or are unsure as to the exact colour please e-mail us for assistance before purchasing.
  • Wood is a natural product and therefore will carry minor imperfections and characteristics such as grain and colour variation and knots these characteristics are not classed as a manufacturing fault. Words such as “antique pine” may not mean that the wood is “antique” wood.
  • Accessories supplied to co-ordinate with the main product may differ in shade; this is normally caused by the manufacturing process and is not a fault.

Pricing:

All prices are correct at time of publication. Snazzles reserve the right to change, alter or amend any price at any time without notice. Should a product price decrease since an original purchase, contractually we are not obligated to refund the difference. Similarly, should an increase occur prior to purchase, we are not obligated to sell at the previous lower price.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using a minimum of 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Shipping And Handling

Deliveries are subject to stock availability.  All our products are quality checked before they are shipped.  Our standard delivery charges in the UK are from £3.99 and this may take between 3-14 days to arrive subject to stock availability. If you have made a bulk order which includes an extraordinary weight and size, we may have to discuss alternative shipping arrangements prior to despatch. We are able to deliver to countries outside the UK and EU, all orders for international deliveries are subject our International Terms and Conditions.  We regret we do not deliver to PO Boxes, orders placed for these addresses will be cancelled and a full refund will be given if you have already paid for the products.

When ordering using Paypal please try and ensure that you are able to use a Confirmed addressed for delivery.  While we will ship to Unconfirmed addresses we cannot accept responsibility if the delivery address is incorrect.

We will do our best to despatch your orders as soon as possible. Products are not shipped on Bank Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.   Should you have any queries regarding our shipping service please contact us.   If there is any problem with your order for example unavailability of a product we will call you or send you an email informing you of the action we are taking, therefore please ensure that you provide the correct email, mobile telephone and address details.  If you provide us with a wrong delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, Snazzles cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result.  It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address is ready and able to accept delivery of the products you have purchased.

Returns Policy

Where the products have been delivered to you, you may cancel them up to 7 working days, starting from the day after the products were received, in line with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.  We apologise but we do not refund shipping, packing or insurance costs. 
If you find that you have received your order and find it is damaged or lost in transit, please contact us immediately or within 2 days so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivering company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

We try to resolve these circumstances as efficiently and effectively as possible and keep you informed along the way.

Please follow our Returns Policy as set out below.

You can return unworn and unwashed costumes to us within seven working days of receiving your order. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. Please note that the items that you wish to return, should not smell of smoke, body odour, perfume, aftershave, should not contain any form of animal or human hair, should not be dry-cleaned, should not be marked, torn, mended or altered and not have been used for any purpose.  Due to personal hygiene teeth, wigs, facial hair, masks, panties, hosiery, tights, underwear, paints, personal body items cannot be returned or refunded.

Please check suitability of your items before disregarding any packaging. When making a return we request that these items are returned in their original condition together with their original packaging.  We are not a manufacturer, so the whole product and packaging must be returned as the same condition as you would have received it and how you may expect to receive it. All items are inspected on their return and if the product or packaging is in any way missing or damaged, we cannot refund.  Cost and Risk of return will be at your expense and we strongly recommend that you receive proof of posting or use Royal Mail’s “Recorded Signed” service. We regret that outbound shipping, packing and insurance cannot be refunded.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such In Dispute items will not be refunded. A reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such In Dispute items back to you, otherwise they will be destroyed within 91 calendar days from their receipt back to us.

Should an item be returned and received after 30 calendar days, we will have no obligation to refund. If you wish for the item to be resent to you, we will ask for a nominal fee to cover additional shipping costs.

We try to make refunds within one week of receipt back to us and endeavour to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods to our warehouse. Please note that we will not be held liable for any interest payment that you may incur because any refund was made outside of your credit/debit card timescales.

We are sorry but due to false promises in the past, we are unable to replace an item until the original is returned to Snazzles in the condition as stated above. If you need an item in a hurry, we suggest you place a second order for the new item and send the original back at a later date.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Instructions for returning items:-

Before sending a parcel back for a refund please follow the following three steps to ensure the return is processed quickly:

  • Please email us to advice of your wish to return an item and your reasons.  Please get in touch with us via [email protected].
  • We will then email you with a Returns Number.
  • You will then need to complete the Returns form in full, which should include your Order Reference Number and your issued Returns Number.
  • Please download your Returns Form here.
  • Once you have completed the Returns form with all the relevant details, include it in your item and ship the item back to us at Snazzles Returns, 3 Llwyn Arian, Coed Hirwaun, Neath Port Talbot, SA13 2UP.
  • Failure to follow these procedures will result in a delay of any returns being processed.

 

Product Guarantee

All of our products come with our 30 day guarantee where you may return faulty goods for exchange or refund of original purchase price. This does not effect your Statutory Rights.

Privacy Policy

Snazzles Fancy Dress do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site where they are strictly necessary for the site functionality. They are used to aid navigation, and to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. If you log in to an account, your logged-in status is recorded in a temporary cookie. If you select the 'Remember Me' Option in the checkout, a cookie will be used to remember your details. You can turn off cookies by blocking them in your browser Privacy settings. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use them.

Our Privacy Policy form part of these Terms and Conditions and by using our website and/or ordering from us you agree to these policies.  Any social media posts or comments will be shared under the terms of the relevant social media network (e.g. Facebook or Twitter) on which they are made, and could be made public by that network. These networks are controlled by other people, not us, so we are not responsible for this sharing.
